Woocommerce Sites

Custom built for usability

Woocommerce is the leading ECommerce plugin for Wordpress.

In its turn, WooCommerce has a lot of free and paid-for plugins that extend its functionality still further.

We choose WooCommerce for our own ECommerce websites for its flexibility and robustness.  You can also use it to sell your subscriptions, accept booking payments and as a platform for selling affiliate products.  This makes it useful for a range of small businesses and freelancers.

Easy to extend with the use of custom fields, WooCommerce allows you to host your own E-Commerce site on the Wordpress framework with all the benefits that it provides.

Online Shops that Work for You

While we might all dream of overnight success, it normally happens after a lot of hard work.  When online businesses do succeed, that can bring with it a whole new set of problems.  A sharp increase in the volume of orders can be overwhelming for the staff trying to get those orders out on time for example.

We've experienced this in our own ECommerce business and, while it is a good problem to have, juggling fulfillment, inventory management, keeping customers in-the-loop leaves little time for putting the systems in place that would have made life so much easier.

Not only do we design our WooCommerce sites for success, we also make them as future-proof as possible so they will be able to handle any large increase in sales.  By understanding your business needs and capabilities as part of our initial Discovery process, we can tailor the administrative side of WooCommerce to do as much of the heavy-lifting as possible.

Your Shop, Your Brand

Branding is an important part of retailing.  Your customer emails, packing slips, delivery notes and invoices are customised with your logo and colours.  Social Media posts and Newsletters promoting Special Offers form part of most online retailer's marketing campaigns.  We can handle the design of these and include the right management tools for discounts and other offers which help drive traffic to your site.

Woocommerce Import and Export

Manual management of inventory and orders can be very time consuming.  We can set up export routines for orders which allow you to bulk upload order details in a single CSV file to the carrier's booking platform.  Export invoices or packing slips to a single, printable PDF and print them on paper which has peel-off address lables built in.

For bulk updating of your inventory, we can create import routines which let you update products from a CSV file.  You can also bulk edit products in a familiar spreadsheet format just as you would in Excel or similar office programmes.

Customer Service

A well-designed FAQ page reduces the number of emails and phone calls from customers all asking the same question.  Though not part of WooCommerce, your FAQ page is part of your ECommerce Help Desk and can save a lot of staff time.

There will, of course, be customers who will still email, but at least you can set up a canned response referring to the FAQ page and refer to the FAQ page in your Contact form.

Contact Form

In addition to referring customers to pages where relevant information might be available to answer their questions, contact forms are a great way of filtering enquiries and routing them to the right person.  During our Discovery process, one of the things we aim to understand is how forms can reduce the time spent dealing with customer service enquiries.
